Suggestions for poll topics

I've been pleased with the response to the polls I have been running on my blog the last few months. If you've participated, thanks! (And if not, please take a moment to vote in the January poll.)

Now that we're more than halfway through January, though, it occurred to me that I don't really have a good idea for a February poll. So if anyone out there has a suggestion or two for what you'd like to see as a future "OUTLANDER poll of the month" topic, please post here.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, Karen --
Well, as an idea for a February poll (and I'm afraid it's not terribly original), Feb. is Valentine's Day and we celebrate the love in our lives. One of the most appealing aspects of the books (for me) is the deep love and sweetness of intimacy shared between Jamie & Claire. How about a poll about favorite terms of endearment/loving exchanges found in the books? I'm not talking about the hot and heavy scenes, but the words that tug at your heart. Some quick examples that come to mind are:
l. Mo nighean donn ("my brown one")
2. do mi basia mille (inscription in Claire's wedding ring -- from the poem, roughly translating to a thousand kisses)
3. Sassenach
4. mo chride ("my heart")
5. "When the day shall come that we part...if my last words are not 'I love you-'--ye'll ken it was because I didna have time." (last line in Fiery Cross)
These are just off the top of my head -- I'm sure you can come up with many more sweet, loving exchanges to add to the list.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with in your future polls.

Joanne:

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still thinking about it, but that's certainly a possibility.
