ECHO's UK Release Day

Today, January 7, 2010, is the official release date for the UK hardcover edition of Diana Gabaldon's AN ECHO IN THE BONE. Finally! It's been a very long and frustrating wait for a lot of UK fans, and I'm happy for those of you who will be able to get your hands on the book at last.

Congratulations to Diana, and I hope that the book does as well in the UK as it has in other places.

In celebration of the UK publication of ECHO, I thought I'd repost a couple of links that I found last summer just before ECHO's release in the U.S., in case some of you had not had a chance to see them.

An audio interview with Diana, from Amazon.com's ECHO page. It's rather long (18 minutes), but very interesting, covering a variety of different topics.

Scottish fans, at the Inverness Highland Games in July 2009, talking about the books.

And finally, for those of you in the UK who haven't yet bought the book, someone on Compuserve mentioned that amazon.co.uk is running a special offer this week, with ECHO available for only £6.73 (55% off the cover price). That sounds like a very good deal!
