More OUTLANDER Flair

Here are my first attempts at creating OUTLANDER flair.

Again, for those of you who aren't on Facebook, sorry for the digression! I can't help it, I think this is a lot of fun.

And for those of you who are wondering, the "coup de foudre" quote comes from ECHO, chapter 68, "Despoiler", p. 602 in the hardcover. It's one of my favorite Jamie-moments in the whole book.

I love all of these! Wish they were "real" buttons. "Fuirich agus chi thu" would be great to wear to one of Diana's signings!

These are great, especially the one about reading the series again. I also love the flair that says, "Excuse me, could you direct me to Craigh na dun?" I haven't read Echo yet to understand the other button. I'm almost finished with my 2nd read of ABOSAA and then I'm starting Echo in time to read it on my 25th anniversary cruise.

I hate to be an ignoramus, but "Fuirich agus chi thu"?

Wassat?

"Fuirich agus chi thu" is the Gaelic translation of one of Diana Gabaldon's favorite phrases ("wait and see"). Look at ECHO p. 794 in the hardcover, in the chapter titled "Mischianza".

It's meant as an inside joke for the people in Diana's section of the Compuserve forum, because the Gaelic translation was provided by one of the members there, Cathy MacGregor, a couple of years ago, and Diana and others on the forum (including me) have been using it in discussions there ever since.
