They are certaily real to me. Jamie and Claire both have their flaws but I love their story anyway. Their flaws are one of the reasons they seem so real.

DebbieDebbie N.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-59248845842206845942011-01-25T10:42:14.789-05:002011-01-25T10:42:14.789-05:00I hope in the next concordance she includes more o...I hope in the next concordance she includes more of the actual historical information about people in the books.slfisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786437732691082667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-20936354453431574732011-01-25T00:24:54.032-05:002011-01-25T00:24:54.032-05:00Fictional, unfortunately. Whenever I come across clan fraser/lord lovat references my heart skips a beat and seeing the clan stone at culloden really got to me. I KNOW it's fiction, but the skill of Diana is to make them so wonderfully three dimensional and convincing!. It's madness I tell you!!Jonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-73901559791467407802011-01-24T17:43:41.204-05:002011-01-24T17:43:41.204-05:00Hey, I just wanted to see what everybody else thin...Hey, I just wanted to see what everybody else thinks. :-) Or maybe I'm just trying to stir up some controversy to start the week?

Figured this would at least get a reaction out of people <evil grin>

KarenKaren Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635855088490793965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-27898445160948646182011-01-24T17:40:31.957-05:002011-01-24T17:40:31.957-05:00WHAATTT, it's fiction??!!? But, yes, I think Diana has so tightly woven fact and fiction that one could think that they were "based on true events" or something. She has done an amazing job of blurring that line. I could see there really being a tale of the Dunbonnet, for example, or a WWI English nurse turned 1960's doctor named Claire.Amiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07480630137656027610noreply@blogger.com
