Particularly liked the scenes with Jaime and Claire in the woods, very touching! And the way they looked at each other, beautifully done. I agree with you about Germaine. I am loving the Beardsley twins. Paul Gorman is doing an excellent job! It is really exciting to see season 5 so strong and makes it hard to wait for the next week's episode! Thanks for all the corresponding book passages, I really enjoy that! I really do appreciate the detail you go into, even if we don't always agree on what works and what doesn't, still interesting to hear another's point of view!Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00497102700645605005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-70282632399846144732020-03-09T14:50:36.507-04:002020-03-09T14:50:36.507-04:00I may be alone in this opinion, but what would hav...I may be alone in this opinion, but what would have been the outcome if Roger MAC had gone all macho at Brownsville? Firing into a house with women and children, possible deaths or wounds, and how many Browns would join the militia? It may have been Roger’s inadvertence, but the outcome was brilliant. Happy week. One thing I noticed here is that you mentioned Alicia's mother a couple times. I believe she is likely an aunt since in the scene with the women she says to Alicia something like: "If your poor mother could see how far you've fallen".
Absolutely agree about Germain. What was up with that?
Thanks so much!Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04281144752450668201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-8130188332962759482020-03-08T20:29:30.735-04:002020-03-08T20:29:30.735-04:00🙋♀️🇦🇺❤️ G’Day from Australia.

Rogers’ fine portrayal of the “ill equiped” son- in-law.
3. Jamie’s tenderness with Claire, particularly his face, when he sees her with the wee bairn, in her arms.
4. Any other scene with Sam, as he completely anchors each one, thus bringing out the best, in the other actors.
🇦🇺
Four things I Didn’t like:
1. Bree & Jemmy alone on the ridge. Jamie wouldn’t do that.
2. That the writer(s) failed to use your complete sentence, re Jamies’ fear of Claire and childbirth.
3. Then Wasting time having Bree and Marsali talk about “nightmares.”
4. The lame ending...ie. the King of Men, standing there with a goat, that let the horses out.!.!Jill Kennedynoreply@blogger.com
