Does anyone know where that account was?

RobinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-88165322156494685272012-08-25T15:02:11.053-04:002012-08-25T15:02:11.053-04:00Kerri - I'm glad you liked that! By a total coincidence, there's an article on Basque shepherds in today's NY Times. You might want to check it out.

Karen
Karen Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635855088490793965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-88821534581492289622012-08-25T14:56:47.512-04:002012-08-25T14:56:47.512-04:00I really like the information/story about the mull...I really like the information/story about the mullein leaves. My grandfather was a Basque sheepherder from Spain. He passed away a year before I was born but my mother and sibilings shared stories of going up to camp with our grandfather. Basque are very generous and would/will share what they have. Apparently my grandpa made some mean bread. I have no information on the bathroom habits but I'm sure those same leaves grew in Idaho. Thank you for sharing and enriching us with some great knowledge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-55372343255857716082012-08-24T18:54:03.999-04:002012-08-24T18:54:03.999-04:00Zan Marie:

I think it's fascinating to see similar legends and folklore in such different cultures as the Algonquian Indians and the people of the Orkneys.

Karen
Karen Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07635855088490793965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-43478658541985145312012-08-24T18:52:21.589-04:002012-08-24T18:52:21.589-04:00Becca:

I had heard of the Wendigo (being a fan of the show Supernatural) but I didn't make the connection between his two names. That's quite fascinating. I am only a little before the halfway point in Snow and Ashes so I'm not sure if that is going to go anywhere in the book. In fact, they might hang Donner for theft! Maybe there are more secrets to unlock about him.. maybe not. I'll find out, though, won't I! =)
Becca Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15933393820722499836noreply@blogger.com
