It conjures up an image of clothing with a mind of its own that has to be watched vigilantly because it is always looking for an opportunity to cut loose and reach for the sky. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-21600277739115516712015-04-14T18:14:15.337-04:002015-04-14T18:14:15.337-04:00In DIA, Claire is willing to risk Faith's life...In DIA, Claire is willing to risk Faith's life to ensure that Jamie doesn't kill BJR so that Frank will be born. However, when her life is at stake and BJR has the knife to her throat, she's not thinking about Frank being born when she tells Jamie to shoot BJR. I wondered about it's insertion, and then decided that we're building up to see what she does to Claire. And the change in the scene where Claire finds the "charm" under the bed seems to lend to my hypothesis... My husband who is not a book reader said it is very understandable and he is a good man and refused her. Well I am settled with it and will not hold it against them although Ron did want them to kiss and his partner said no no no so glad she told him to stop it there or we may have seen a revolt. lol Thanks again for sharing your thoughts of the episode really enjoyed them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-21478033971907271282015-04-05T18:23:45.677-04:002015-04-05T18:23:45.677-04:00Astute recounting of Ep 9 Your point that Jaime ju...Astute recounting of Ep 9 Your point that Jaime just want 2 be kind 2 Laoghaire still doesn't sit well with me. I call it a common man's POV & I've always looked @ Jaime as very uncommon. His 1st response in the hallway was a "weak" Dougal made me do it. & @the river because of his vows - a little bit acceptable now that you mentioned Jaime does not take vows lightly. I considered both a"cop out" Jaime has always been truthful or not say anything. In Matt Robert's exemplary writing of the whole Ep 9 Jaime's & Laoghaire' s exchanges were the only part I did not like but understood Matt''s guy.YASMENnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-66985246255707896292015-04-05T18:10:26.886-04:002015-04-05T18:10:26.886-04:00Thank you for your recap and comments! When J did his voiceover discussing forgiveness...ahhh...made me love J's character even more. I love that the show had him saying how he feels out loud to us (even though it doesn't come out in the book until later on).theRossicanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-10339734422076700642015-04-05T17:17:53.978-04:002015-04-05T17:17:53.978-04:00I loved the episode, such great actors. They don't really have the time -or aren't taking the time - to go into the beating and the "master" part of the makeup sex in great depth. If they are not going to do that, then they have to lessen the intensity.

They have to adjust to accommodate their own changes. At least, that's what I thought when I watched it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-46551970065175649252015-04-05T10:36:04.502-04:002015-04-05T10:36:04.502-04:00Thank you Karen for clearing my mind filled with d...Thank you Karen for clearing my mind filled with disappointing thoughts after viewing episode 109. I had anticipated seeing DG's wonderful words which paint pictures of C and J relationship slowly coming to full love and respect being the full focus of this episode. You showed me even though this tv series did not follow her book with this story it has some merit. Sincerely I always enjoy your recaps.
