Happy Week. Loving Outlander. Something that really gets me is Brianna calls Jamie a savage yet she’s the one who slaps him and Ian in the face. Yes, Jamie beat Roger (unknowingly) but to lash out in violence because Jamie was violent, seems hypocritical. Thank's so much for your break downs o...Karen.. Thank's so much for your break downs of the episodes..I don't get to watch the show when it airs on t.v.sometimes it will be a week or so and I'll binge watch to get caught up..I've read the books years ago..and reread them when possible..but not in order..so I pretty well know what's happening..unless there is a change from book..so I love reading your...commentary..I don't miss not seeing it as much ..so I don't begrudge having to work quite as badly..( that's a wee lie lol ! ) I'm kinda like aunt Jocasta seeing it threw your eyes first !Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10810845808843086489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-23202220761660997162019-01-06T22:07:15.221-05:002019-01-06T22:07:15.221-05:00Does anyone else wonder what Ian and Lizzie though...Does anyone else wonder what Ian and Lizzie thought when Brianna blurted out the comment about her "father" would never have said that? What do they know if anything about Frank?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-89532055684884449472019-01-06T18:05:11.343-05:002019-01-06T18:05:11.343-05:00Thank you for your re-cap of episode 410. I agree...Thank you for your re-cap of episode 410. I agree wholeheartedly. I do think more of the books dialogue is being included in the last few episodes. It really makes the TV show better for me. I felt the same about Roger reaching out to touch the stone, just as Claire did in season 1 when Jamie stopped her. Either Roger will retreat from the stone or the Indians will grab him before he goes through - either way I don't think he will go back yet. That would be such a huge departure from the books and create all kinds of unnecessary changes going forward with the story. I really didn't like the preview of episode 411 showing Murtagh pointing the gun at Bonnet, especially since Murtagh may not be aware of how despicable and dangerous Bonnet is. If they kill off Murtagh I will really be unhappy (I really like Murtagh still being part of the Frasers journey) and if they kill off Bonnet, who will be the main villain in season 5 and 6. Guess I'll have to wait until next week to find out.KMChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11291803926737701495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379581147262228210.post-273655026064503622019-01-06T17:47:12.841-05:002019-01-06T17:47:12.841-05:00Hi Karen, always enjoy your summaries. I hadn’t ...Hi Karen, always enjoy your summaries. I hadn’t thought about the explosions but you’re right & they really piled one on top of another. Ian’s proposal - actually I got a kick out of it being his idea, & Jamie telling him to ‘get up you idjot ‘ made me laugh! & there weren’t a lot of laughs in this one. Seemed a bit rushed again in spots - but I’m coming to the conclusion that may be because I’m used to reading all the detail in Diana’s wonderful books. I know they can’t invlude it all. (But I can wish..). But like you I thought they did a good job here with all the various threads going on. & I was right there with you at the end, yelling oh no don’t you dare leave her... last weeks episode was near perfect & this one is right behind it. And I still hate Bonnet. And cliffhangers. Thanks!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04929582281219564238noreply@blogger.com
