Diana Gabaldon on whether Season 8 includes anything from Book 10
Wondering whether there's anything from A BLESSING FOR A WARRIOR GOING OUT (the forthcoming Book 10 in the OUTLANDER series) in the remaining episodes of OUTLANDER Season 8? I think we can take these two comments by Diana Gabaldon on TheLitForum today as Definitive Answers:
1) Will anything from the #DailyLines from BLESSING be included in Season 8?
Dear Karen--2) About the ending of Season 8 vs. the ending of BLESSING:
Well, given that I both read all the scripts for S8 (and watched most of the dailies) and actually wrote (or co-wrote) two of them...I think I'd know if they'd somehow managed to break into my computer and swipe pieces of BLESSING. <g>
I.e., they can't have included anything from BLESSING because I didn't give them any of it.
Dear Karen--Diana has been saying similar things for many months, but some people are unconvinced. I think she's saying as clearly as she can, yes, she really means it!
And by a process of deduction, people may (safely) conclude that the show's ending is NOT the books' ending. Ergo, the people who are in a quandary about watching the end of Season 8 for fear of spoiling the ending of BLESSING, can stop worrying.
