More casting announcements for the prequel!

STARZ announced more cast members for BLOOD OF MY BLOOD this week!

Rory Alexander will play Murtagh FitzGibbons Fraser.

Sam Retford will play Dougal MacKenzie.

Seamus McLean Ross will play Colum MacKenzie.

Conor MacNeill will play Ned Gowan.

It will be interesting to see all of these familiar characters from OUTLANDER being played 30 years younger than they were when Claire first met them!

I don't know anything about any of these actors, but I really wish they'd found a better photo of Seamus McLean Ross to use as his introduction to the cast. He looks exhausted in this picture, as though he hasn't slept for days, and to me he just doesn't look appealing.

Oh, well. I'm keeping an open mind, and reassured by the fact that Suzanne Smith, OUTLANDER's casting director, is also in charge of casting on the new series. I've said many times that the casting on OUTLANDER has been phenomenal, and I hope the same will be true of BLOOD OF MY BLOOD.
