Which characters introduced in DRAGONFLY IN AMBER are you really excited about getting to see on TV? For me, that list would include the young Lord John, Mother Hildegarde, Master Raymond, and Fergus.

Which scenes from DRAGONFLY are you looking forward to the most, and why?  Personally, I can't wait to see:
  • Jamie and Claire's reunion after the miscarriage
  • Jamie in the brothel with a "verra large sausage" <g>
  • The French court at Versailles -- I'm sure the costumes will be amazing!
  • The whole sequence involving the 16-year-old Lord John at Prestonpans
Of course there are scenes I'm dreading, too. It's going to be really tough to say goodbye to Rupert, Murtagh, and Dougal at the end of Season 2. And I'm 100% positive that the farewell scenes at Craigh na Dun will leave us in floods of tears -- but I don't want to think too much about that just yet!

What about the rest of you?  Which scenes, characters, locations, etc., are you looking forward to the most in Season 2, and why? Please leave a comment here or on my Outlandish Observations Facebook page.

All the scenes you mentioned are high on my list, but am very curious what Ron & co will do with the scene where Master Raymond heals Claire after her miscarriage. Will he show the blue glow of M. Raymond's magic?

I am anxious to see what changes they will make. Some of the changes from season one were very good, others I preferred the scene in the book, and there were scenes that were left out that would have been fun to see, but were not vital to the story. Those extra scenes, to me, are a large part of what makes the books so wonderful and so real.

I am sorry that we are getting only 13 episodes instead of the 16 we had for book 1.

And of course, we are all waiting to see what they do with Brianna and Roger, will they be introduced in Dragonfly, or will they wait until Voyager.

What do I look forward to in Season 2?
Paris:
My fiirst thought is the scene with Jamie and Claire after they lose Faith. I'm sure it will be intense and touching.
I can't wait to see any interaction with Claire and Master Raymond. I want to meet Mother HIldegard (a verra strong personality) and watch Claire in her element in the hospital.

I CAN NOT wait to see the costumes at the Royal Court. Terry and team have proven they are capable of EPIC magic when it comes to costumes. I love their attention to detail and trust her historical accuracy. I expect to be transported by the images.

Scotland:
I want ot meet Lord John. I look forward to the scene after Lord John's interaction where Jamie takes his punishment. He will again show that he is fair and just, even with himself.
I want to witness Murtaugh delivering the "package". He is ALWAYS looking after things, even when others don't know it.
I DO NOT want ot say goodbye to Murtaugh.
All interactions with Dougal and Colum will be intense.

Yes,am having difficulty thinking about how such a complicated book as DIA will be done in 13 episodes instead of 16.

I just want to know when the next season will be out. It's taking as long as the last book. Ugh!

Many things to look froward to:
1. Claire working at the hospital with Mother Hildegard!
2. Master Raymond tending to Claire after loss of her pregnancy
3. Claire & Jamie reuniting after he gets out of prison

I'm looking forward to Master Raymond and Fergus, the court at Versailles, Jared and Bouton (sp?)!

Are they including Brianna and Roger in Season 2? I thought I had heard they were, but no casting has been released. I also heard, I think, that they might be doing those scenes towards the end.

I just can't wait for all of it!

I am anxious to see how DIA will be adapted. I wonder if it will begin in the twentieth century as the book did.I bet that it won't. Having lost my first baby the day after he was born, it will be difficult to watch Claire and Jamie dealing with the losd of their firstborn. The goodbye scene was so heart wrenching to read. Watching it will be terrible.
