What's your favorite gift in Diana Gabaldon's books?

Now that the holiday season is here, I thought it might be fun to talk about our favorite gifts from the OUTLANDER and Lord John books.

Here are my top three:

Claire's silver wedding ring (book version), available here.

Claire's pearl necklace (The one pictured above comes from Hamilton & Young.)

The medical chest Jamie gives Claire in DRUMS OF AUTUMN.

There are so many other wonderful gifts in the books:
  • The "vrooms" Roger makes for the children
  • Adso the kitten
  • Fergus's last name
  • Brianna's photos
  • The cherrywood snake Jamie's brother made for him
  • The rosary Jamie gave Willie as a farewell gift
  • Hugh Munro's dragonfly in amber
  • The poison ivy bouquet
  • The bracelet Roger gave to Bree
  • etc.
What are some of your favorites?

I kick myself for not buying the "Outlander Ring" at Doune Castle in September! The gift shop was very busy and I felt too rushed because of the tiny space being so full of people! dumb reason. I'll just have to go back!

I love when Jamie gives Claire the bouquet of poison ivy. He was trying to be so sweet, and she didn't want to discourage him.

I loved Jamie giving Claire his mother's pearls...so lovely, heartfelt, and meaningful. Pearls are a beautiful heirloom to pass down through the generations.
