Interview with Diana Gabaldon

Karen and Diana

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Outlandish Observations, I interviewed OUTLANDER's author, Diana Gabaldon!

Frankly, the idea of interviewing Diana Gabaldon was a little nervewracking for me at first, even though I've known her online since 2007 and we interact almost daily on TheLitForum.com (formerly the Compuserve Books and Writers Community). I've never interviewed anyone before, and it took me a while to decide what questions to ask.

I did my best to come up with questions that are somewhat different from the usual things people always ask her, which she clearly appreciated, as you can see from her comments on Facebook:
[It's] a REAL pleasure to be asked something new and interesting, and I'm always Much Obliged to the interviewers who take the trouble to do so. Hence, many thanks to Karen Henry, who asked to interview me for her blog, "Outlandish Observations," which has been running for the last ten years (during which Karen herself has become the Chief Bumblebee Herder for the Diana Gabaldon folder on The LitForum (previously the Compuserve Books and Writers Forum). I mean, Karen kind of knows all the Usual Suspects, in terms of interview questions, and therefore went to some pains to ask something new.

That being so, I thought y'all might like to see the answers.
I'm just DELIGHTED with her answers, and I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did!
