Those are my picks too. Wonderfully romantic.
favorite quote is right before (or after can't remember) rachel says the wolf quote to ian:
"the world is turning upside down, and you are the only constant thing. the only thing that binds me to the earth." Ian Murray to Rachel in "An Echo in the Bone"
P.S. young Ian is by far my favorite character (yes, even over Jamie). Know of any good Ian fan boards/posts out there? They seem kind of hard to find except for the occasional one that discusses his former Mohawk life.
Hello Mrs.Henry, here I am once more... Thankyou, all the quotes are wonderful. I do like these too : "Don't be afraid, we are the two of us now"(Outlander) and "To see the years touch you gives me joy Sassenach, he whispered, for it means that you live."(The Fiery Cross).Have a nice day.
Wonderful quotes, everybody!
Christiane - PLEASE call me "Karen"! "Mrs. Henry" sounds like my mother. :-)
Karen
All right KAREN, I will from now on ! Thanks
That's quite a task to choose just one quote from each book, but you chose verra well! And I like how you strayed from the Jamie/Claire quotes for your Echo in the Bone choice. That last scene between Ian and Rachel is just lovely. :-)
"Ye are blood of my blood..." That was incorporated into my wedding. (Actually, I walked down the aisle to "Is Tu Fuil") So, it's definitely my overall favorite. I'll have to think about others. :)
" then let amorous kisses dwell on our lips, begin and tell a Thousand, and a Hundred score
A Hundred, and a Thousand more"
Ah so romantic
ELLen
Luv them all! Esp Ian's & Rachels!
@Cari - my other favorite from ECHO is the "coup de foudre" line, but the wolf line makes me go "Awwwwwww!!" every time I hear it, so it really wasn't hard to choose that one. Glad you liked these!
Karen
Bramblefae - Oh, I love that "Is tu fuil" song! Just lovely. How neat that you got to use it at your wedding. Congratulations! :-)
Karen
Ellen - I love that, too. :-)
Karen
Lenis - glad you liked them!

Wonderful selection of quotes, Karen! Theresa
Thanks, Theresa, I'm glad you liked them!

It's a great song, Karen, but now I get choked up everytime I hear it! *laugh*
