Here, at last, are the opening titles for OUTLANDER: BLOOD OF MY BLOOD!

I think it's a lovely song, hauntingly beautiful even if you don't understand all the words. Be sure to turn on the CC setting on the video to see the lyrics in both English and Gaelic.

I have been feeling pretty ambivalent about this show, willing to watch and make up my own mind, but mostly out of curiosity rather than enthusiasm. After seeing this video, along with the beautiful theme music by Bear McCreary (sung by Julie Fowlis in English and Gaelic), for the first time I'm feeling a little bit excited!

    I’m like you, ambivalent. I don’t mind they are doing it but if it doesn’t involve Jamie or Claire well… it’s just another historical drama to me. Although I think they did a good job with Outlander so I trust this will be worth watching. Here is to hoping!

    I just can't get excited about it. I see it as fan fiction, which has never been one of my interests. It's too bad it was so rushed as to break the storyline of an as-yet-to-be-completed series, Outlander. Tell me they're releasing S8 of that one and it may stir some excitement, but with the weird direction that was taken in S716, even that has made me cancel Starz.
