"Virgins" will be out in paperback on October 28th!

Dangerous Women paperback

Diana Gabaldon's novella, "Virgins", will be available in paperback on October 28, 2014, as part of the DANGEROUS WOMEN 2 anthology, edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois.

This is the same story that was published in hardcover last December as part of the original DANGEROUS WOMEN anthology. It's being released now in paperback for the first time.

For those of you who don't know, "Virgins" tells the story of Jamie Fraser and his friend Ian Murray as very young mercenaries in France in 1740, before Jamie met Claire.  It's a very entertaining story, and definitely worth reading!

See my FAQ page here for more information about "Virgins".

I picked up the first Dangerous Women, which has Virgins in it, in Kindle format for $11 and change. I agree it's not the same as having a book but thought I'd throw this out there for those that aren't aware of the availability in this format.

For those of us whose vision is not what it used to be even with glasses, the Kindle versions are a blessing. All of the Voyager books are lined up on my bookshelf in paperback, but I found on the 2nd reading or maybe 3rd time around, I could not see the small print and became frustrated. Voila, I ordered the Kindle versions and am happily reliving 18th Century North Carolina (my home state) with Claire and Jamie in Drums of Autumn.
