A wee giftie from Diana!

Diana Gabaldon sent me this lovely gift basket of dates from the Sphinx Date Co. in Scottsdale, AZ, where she lives.

Here's the inscription on the card accompanying them:

The card reads, "Dear Karen, Happy Hannukah and a Great New Year! Thanks for Everything -- especially the gift of your friendship! Love, Diana".

Isn't that sweet of her? I'm delighted that she values our friendship as much as I do. It's a very precious gift to me as well, as you can imagine.

The dates look yummy and I'm sure I'll enjoy them very much. <g>

Thank you, Diana!! And Merry Christmas!

But ... you didn't bring enough to share! lol Happy Hannukah, Karen. We all benefit from your friendship with Diana, and the "bee herding" you do for her. So thank you for everything, from me, too!
