Opening credit sequence for OUTLANDER Season 8!



STARZ has released the opening credit sequence for OUTLANDER Season 8! The singer is Annie Lennox. There's a lot to unpack in this video, but overall I think it looks great, with a number of new bits specifically referring to GO TELL THE BEES THAT I AM GONE, Book 9 of the OUTLANDER series. I'm looking forward to it very much!

For those of you who don't know, OUTLANDER Season 8 will premiere on STARZ on Friday, March 6, 2026. This final season of OUTLANDER will be 10 episodes long.

    I am sorry, but this is another morose version of this beautiful song, and uninspired title sequence. It drags both auditorily and visually. A series that started with such a brilliant fireworks didn't deserve to end with a pfffft.

    Very touching. I like the version with Bear’s wife better. No denying the deep soulfulness of Annie Lennox on this beautiful song. The music throughout the series has been excellent and elevated. If you offer steak to a man used to hamburger he’ll be let down you didn’t bother to grind the meat first and resent having to chew. pfffft. (that was me spitting on them)

    There is no denying the soulfulness of Annie Lennox’ voice on this season eight rendition. My favorite is still the one sung by Bear’s wife. The music throughout the entire series has been extraordinary and elevated. If you offer a man a steak who is used to eating hamburger, he might be upset that you didn’t bother to grind his meat for him and resent having to chew. pfffft (that is me spitting at them)
