Thank you for writing these episode reviews, I enjoy reading them every week!

Just regarding the scene with Brianna and Lord John, where you questioned whether or not Brianna had given up, resolved to marry Forbes. Where was her Fraser stubborn streak? I don't think it's so much as she's lost it, but that she's definitely of Jamie's ilk wherein he would do anything for his children, i.e. when he made Claire go back through the stones. She would marry Forbes to ensure her child had a somewhat, if not monetarily, secure future. At least that's the way I would interpret it.

I most definitely agree with you about the Lord John/Alderdyce sex scene! Ugh! I mean really, like it would be that likely they would just go at it somewhere that anyone could just walk by and see, rather unlikely! The writing struggle in this episode is real, as some would say.
